On September 16, 2018 the Jewish people lost a hero.

Ari Fuld z”l was known as a defender of Israel and a close friend to the Helping Israel Fund and many of its board members. His regular video updates, often from the Western Wall or other places of special significance to the Jewish people, inspired Zionists worldwide and fought against the lies that Israel’s enemies spread. Alongside taking the battle to the Internet, Ari dedicated himself to helping Israeli soldiers in every way he could. Ari was true to his name, a lion for Israel.

On September 16, while shopping at the Gush Etzion mall, Ari’s life was cut short by a terrorist who stabbed him. His last act was to pursue and neutralize the terrorist, preventing him from harming other civilians. He fell a hero.

In honor of Ari Fuld, the Helping Israel Fund is creating a center for IDF soldiers, Beit Ari. Beit Ari will be a place where IDF soldiers can stop and take a break, hang out with their friends and fellow soldiers and find a warm Shabbat meal.
