Our beloved wife, mother, Bubby, sister, and aunt, Deena Sue Borzak, had a connection to Israel that was fierce and unshakable. “הר הבית בידינו” — Har HaBayit is in our hands — was a phrase she often wove into everyday conversation, a living reminder of Jewish strength and resilience. She carried with her the pride of her great-grandparents, Zionist youth in the shtetl who dreamed of return, and her burial in Israel stands as the ultimate testament to her devotion — to become one with the land she so deeply loved, and to shoulder, even in death, the burden of the Jewish people.
